This episode is a recap of 49 and 50. New footage is added including an elongated battle between Kira and Athrun vs Shinn and Rey in order to satisfy fan demands. The results are the same in that the Freedom totals the Legend, while Infinite Justice totals the Destiny. A last segment is added in that entails the possible blooming of friendship between once heated rivals in Kira and Shinn as they make amends over the ceremonial grounds in which they had ‘coincidentally’ ‘met’ once before.
